Hi Ken,
I have been looking for test sequences recently and found some at:
http://thanglong.ece.jhu.edu/~cjtu/link.html
http://kbs.cs.tu-berlin.de/~stewe/vceg/sequences.htm#vqeg
http://media.xiph.org/vqeg/TestSequences/Reference/
http://www-it.et.tudelft.nl/~inald/vcdemo/downloadvcdemo.htm
http://meru.cecs.missouri.edu/free_download/videos/
http://www.cipr.rpi.edu/resource/sequences/sif.html
The sequences can be downloaded by right clicking and saving the target to a
local directory.
Also I believe I have most of the standard clips in both CIF and QCIF format
so I will be setting up a website where they can be downloaded. The site
will be at http://delboy.ucd.ie:9997/TestSequences/ and it will be active
from the evening of Saturday 22nd March.
Many thanks again to Loo Yee, Prasad RSV, Zhou Guanfeng, Christoph Lampert &
Paul Smith who helped me find the clips I was looking for, Your help was
greatly apreciated.
Hope this helps you Ken,
Regards,
Stefan

Subject: [VQEG] Test sequences
Hi,
Can someone tell me how I can download the test sequences.
I have tried the ftp site:
ftp://ftp.crc.ca/pub/crc/vqeg/TestSequences
But, I cannot connect to it: I get message:
Connection closed by remote host.
I wanted to use the test sequences to evaluate and compare the performance
of two MPEG-2 encoders.
Ken
