I believe that what happen in your case is that last frame is repeated,
and therefore last 2 fields odd+even are repeated,
therefore the "shaky video" does not sound like a real problem, it
sounds like a regular behavior.
if that is the case, and you still want to avoid the "shaky video", you
can simply repeat the even field on both odd and even place.
note that in this case the vertical resolution will be x2 lower.

Hi All,
I am using a vport display (of dm642) which displays output in
interlaced format.
When a high motion PAL interlaced stream is decoded and displayed
through vport, the video is shaky for start and end of stream.
Please let me know if there is any optimized deinterlacing technique
which will avoid or reduce the shaky video.
