[Mp4-tech] Embeding ME Algorithms in Codec

Dear Experts,
  I'm intersted in using MPEG4 codec (like JM) to simulate some famous motion estimation algorithms like DS (Diamond Searc), FAME (Fast Adaptive Motion Estimation algorithm), ARP (Adaptive Rood PAttern search), ...But I don't know which modifications to the codec are necessary to simulate these algorithms. 
  Could anybody help me to simulate these algorithms through MPEG4 codecs?
