[Mp4-tech] Re: PES packet byte alignment?

Hi All,
I am trying to write a program to extract PES packets from a mpeg transport
stream.  All of the PES packets I am looking for have the start code prefix
= 0x000001.
My question is:  Will these 24 bits always be byte aligned?
