Hi experts,
In the latest standard(2005) the Level part has no LUT, 
because i saw the JM code they just use some formulas to calculate the codeword and length of Level.
Are there any advantage?? Because i can't undertand the jm code, how to get the codeword??...
for example:
from the JM code 
in the vlc.c
        level = se->value1; 
            what is value1 here??
can anyone explain how it works?? or suggest me to see some more document...
