[M4IF Technotes] ISO MPEG-4 under ASF?

Hi!
I am attempting to write a library that encapsulates ISO standard MPEG-4
video elementary streams as Microsoft ASF files.
Microsoft says that they support this, and have a registered FOURCC code
(M4S2) for ISO standard MPEG-4, but nothing
I generate will play (although it does not generate errors).
After a week-long search, I have failed to find *any* examples of this sort
of file, nor have I found any tool that will let me generate
such a file (plenty of the Microsoft specific MPEG-4 flavors - MP42, MP43,
MP4S, MPG4, but these don't cut it).
Can anyone point me at an ASF file containing playable ISO MPEG-4? Or a tool
that will allow me to generate the same?
